We provide equipment certified and suitable for use within explosive atmospheres
if necessary. This equipment is covered by both the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU
(Zones 21 & 22 dusts) and DSEAR (Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmosphere
Regulations).
RAM Environmental has years of experience in developing and designing effective
fume extraction systems. Our engineers are BOHS P601 and P602 qualified. This
accreditation is recommended by the HSE in HSG258, giving our clients peace of
mind that all systems will comply with the C.O.S.H.H (Control of Substances
Hazardous to Health) Regulations.
Having no tie to any one particular manufacturer, we source equipment best
suited for your needs. Given the background of RAM Environmental in the industry
we are able to engineer a system from initial concept through to final
commissioning. Coupled with in-house manufacturing capabilities we will tailor a
system to meet your exact requirements.
RAM were extremely professional when they designed and fitted the LEV in our new design and technology department. Richards experience and knowledge working in a school environment was a great help in the design period. After Richard had fitted the extraction system all D&T staff and users of the department were very impressed with the outcome.
